Ride through the beautiful landscapes of Essex County to benefit local land conservation! Tour de Greenbelt, on September 21, 2024, offers untimed routes that can be enjoyed at a rider’s own pace-- a half-century (50 miles) and a recreational route (25 miles) on paved roads, and two Gravel Grinder off-road excursions into protected forests and reservations. The ride begins at 9:00 am at Allyn Cox Reservation, 82 Eastern Ave., Essex, MA. Riders will enjoy cycling past more than 50 of Greenbelt’s protected properties, venturing into state forests, traversing farmland, then returning to Cox Reservation for food, beer, and live music under the Big Tent. This fundraiser supports Greenbelt's conservation work in Essex County, so we hope you'll tell your friends! Join a team and make an even bigger impact! Make sure to order your specialty jersey by the August 21 deadline for delivery before the ride! All orders after the deadline will be mailed to you after the event.
