Once a thriving tree nursery, Dodge Farm continues to honor its horticultural heritage with a diverse array of mature trees and shrubs. The landscape features a dynamic display of color, texture, and form that evolves with the seasons.

The property is also home to the Hamilton-Wenham Community Garden, which is owned and managed by Greenbelt.

In 2006, the Hamilton-Wenham Open Land Trust (HWOLT) protected Dodge Farm, preserving it for horticultural use and establishing a community garden in 2012. When HWOLT ceased operations in 2022, they transferred the property to Greenbelt for permanent protection and stewardship. Since this time, public access has been expanded with a new parking area and improved trails.

As a former tree nursery, Dodge Farm features a diverse collection of plantings that surprise and delight throughout the year. From the vibrant foliage of Japanese Maples and the graceful Kousa Dogwoods to the grandeur of European Beeches and Red Oaks, the property offers a stunning mix of natural beauty and timeless character.
