Encircling 1,500 feet of lakefront, Creek Brook is Haverhill’s newest conserved land. Purchased in 2024, this 36 acre site is part of the larger 300 acre Crystal Lake Conservation Area. Protected for water supply and biodiversity, Creek Brook adjoins other protected lands, including Rurak Point. During this easy 2-3 mile hike you’ll learn about Sisters Island, observe beaver activity and hopefully see (or at least hear!) from one of the loons that inhabit Crystal Lake.
