Creek Brook, Haverhill’s newest conserved land, spans 36 acres and encircles 1,500 feet of picturesque lakefront. Purchased in 2024, this site is part of the larger 300-acre Crystal Lake Conservation Area, safeguarded for water supply and biodiversity. Creek Brook connects with other protected lands, including Rurak Point.

Join us for an easy 2-3 mile hike where you’ll learn about Sisters Island, observe beaver activity, and—if you’re lucky—spot (or at least hear) one of the loons that call Crystal Lake home. Our guide for the hike is Mark Sheehan from Haverhill Trails Volunteers.
