Recent Greenbelt Success Stories

Previously a beloved local Christmas tree farm, Evergreen Farm went on the market after the owner passed away. Greenbelt ensured the majority of farmland at Evergreen Farm can continue to be farmed, while also protecting 18 acres as a wildlife habitat for critically endangered Blanding’s Turtle.

Greenbelt preserved over 90 acres with beautiful mature hardwood trees, an understory of native viburnums, ferns, and wildflowers, Camp Brook, a tributary to the Merrimack River, and a network of existing trails that connect to an adjacent Greenbelt-owned open space.
