I hope this finds you, your family and friends as healthy and safe as can be expected as we contend with the effects of COVID-19. I want to let you know that while the office headquarters at Cox Reservation are closed and events are canceled through at least April 16th, Greenbelt’s staff continues to work from remote locations.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous support over the years - annual giving, membership dues, legacy gifts - that has allowed us to protect thousands of acres of land. This conserved land offers us health and respite, and will still be here for us to enjoy long after this crisis is over.
For those of you who are able to get outside and enjoy Greenbelt’s properties at this time, please take seriously the importance of physical and social distancing, even when you are outdoors. Please keep parking areas, trails and open space safe for everyone, and protect the public at large, by maintaining a minimum of 6 feet of physical distance at all times.
With circumstances evolving daily, please visit our website at ecga.org regularly for updates and opportunities to engage virtually with us. On behalf of all of us at Greenbelt, I wish you well and look forward to seeing you soon.
Greenbelt is grateful to several professional and staff photographers whose work is featured prominently within our website.
Thank you Jerry Monkman / ecophotography.com, Lynne Holton, Kindra Clineff, Adrian Scholes and John Raleigh.
